The short version.
That's the gist. The rest of this page covers the details — what counts as an affiliate link, who our partners are, how we make editorial decisions, and how we comply with disclosure laws.
How affiliate links work.
An affiliate link is a special URL that tells our partner site which visitor came from LaunchStackHub. When you click one and complete a paid action (usually a subscription signup), our partner pays us a referral fee.
This typically takes the form of:
- A one-time commission — a flat fee when you become a paying customer
- A recurring commission — a percentage of your subscription, paid to us monthly for a defined period
- A lifetime commission — paid for as long as you remain a customer (rare)
The cost to you is exactly the same — and in many cases, our partners give LaunchStackHub readers a discount, so it's actually cheaper than going direct.
Our current partners.
We participate in affiliate programs with (but are not limited to) the following companies:
This list may change as we add or remove partners. We update it at least quarterly.
Editorial independence.
This is the most important part of this page.
Companies cannot pay to be recommended on LaunchStackHub. A tool's presence on our quiz or in our content reflects our editorial judgment — not how much the company pays us per referral.
We've turned down higher-paying partners when we couldn't honestly recommend their product. We've kept lower-paying partners when they're simply better for the user. Several tools we mention positively in our content aren't affiliated with us at all — we just think they're good.
Our rules:
- We test every tool we recommend, or work closely with someone who has
- We only recommend tools we'd suggest to a friend in the same situation
- If a partner's product or service quality declines, we drop them from the list — even if it costs us money
- If we discover a tool we love that isn't part of an affiliate program, we recommend it anyway
How we mark affiliate links.
Wherever feasible, we mark affiliate links in one or more of the following ways:
- A general disclosure at the top or bottom of pages containing affiliate content
- The standard
rel="sponsored"attribute on HTML links - A note in the quiz results page that says some links are affiliate links
- This Affiliate Disclosure page, linked from the footer of every page on the site
If you're ever unsure whether a particular link is an affiliate link, you can:
- Hover over the link to see the URL — affiliate links often include tracking parameters
- Assume yes, just to be safe — if it's a tool we feature and there's a link to it, there's a good chance it's an affiliate link
- Email us at hello@launchstackhub.com and ask
FTC & global compliance.
This disclosure is provided in compliance with the U.S. Federal Trade Commission's 16 CFR Part 255: "Guides Concerning the Use of Endorsements and Testimonials in Advertising", as well as similar consumer protection regulations in the European Union, the United Kingdom, Canada, Australia, and other jurisdictions.
In short: when there's a material connection between a recommender and a product (like us earning a commission), the recommender is required to disclose it. We disclose. That's this page.
